This injury comes shortly after Diggs secured a five-year, $97 million contract extension with the Cowboys in July, just ahead of the last year on his rookie contract. Selected 51st in the 2020 NFL Draft, Diggs made headlines in 2021 by leading the NFL with 11 interceptions and two pick-sixes, earning a first-team All-Pro selection. He continued his impressive run with a Pro Bowl appearance in 2022 after three interceptions.
