Recently, Magic Johnson, a veteran and one of the most emblematic players in NBA history, expressed his disagreement with the statements made by the young talent of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Anthony Edwards.

The latter commented that players from previous eras, except for Michael Jordan, needed more current players’ skills. This opinion did not go unnoticed by Johnson, who, during an interview with ESPN, pointed out that Edwards does not have the track record of making such judgments, highlighting that the young player has yet to win a championship, either at the college level or, likely, in high school.

Although basketball was said to be more demanding back then, he believed that players of that time were not as skilled as those today.
