The Cherie DeVaux-trained #7 She Feels Pretty, listed as the 2-1 morning-line favorite, is set to take on a competitive field this weekend. As a winner of the Natalma Stakes (G1) during her juvenile season, this Karakontie filly has proven her talent on the track. 

She ended 2023 with a close third-place finish, and her performance has remained strong in her two races as a three-year-old. Starting her 2024 campaign with a dominating win in the Hilltop Stakes at Pimlico, she recently secured a strong third in the Belmont Oaks (G1), a race run longer than ideal.

European Contenders: Beautiful Love and Les Reys

However, She Feels Pretty has competition. Among the challengers is the European import #11, Beautiful Love, listed at 4-1 on the morning line. 

Trained by Charlie Appleby, Beautiful Love was a dominant winner at Meydan over the winter. She has since completed five solid morning workouts at this venue in preparation for her U.S. debut. With Manny Franco aboard, she is a potential upset candidate who might attract attention from those tracking horse racing odds.

Another notable contender is #6 Les Reys, listed at 10-1. Trained by Christophe Clement, this French import has won her last two races at Longchamp and has shown promise in her morning workouts on the Oklahoma turf course. With Joel Rosario in the irons, Les Reys could be poised to surprise in this competitive field.

Proctor Street and Chad Brown’s Trio: Upset Potential

Additionally, #9 Proctor Street, coming in at 8-1, is an intriguing option. This Street Sense filly, trained by Brendan Walsh, recently notched a robust allowance win on this surface in just her second career start. 

Though the pace scenario may not be ideal for a late closer like Proctor Street, her raw talent and potential for improvement make her one to consider, especially for those exploring offtrack betting options.

It’s also important not to overlook the Chad Brown-trained trio of #2 Grayosh (8-1), #5 Spaliday (12-1), and #10 Dynamic Pricing (6-1). Brown has a remarkable record in this race, having trained three consecutive winners and five of the last seven. While none of these fillies stand out as clear win contenders, they are worth considering in vertical exotic bets, particularly Saratoga betting strategies.
