Netflix has announced the debut of an exciting new docuseries that promises to captivate basketball fans. Titled “Starting 5”, the series will follow five NBA superstars—Jimmy Butler, Anthony Edwards, LeBron James, Domantas Sabonis, and Jayson Tatum—throughout the 2023-24 season.

The 27-year-old veteran with eight years in the league has agreed to stay with the Los Angeles Clippers, a team he has been with since 2019. With #40 on his back, the center accepted an extension for $58,6M for three more years. This is the maximum the player can earn for that time, and will be locked down with the Clippers for the next four years. The Croatian is a critical player in the center, making the Clippers attractive to bettors on the NBA Odds.

The big star and his team, the Golden State Warriors, have agreed to a one-year extension through the 2026-27 season. It was the most extended deal the Warriors were able to offer him.

Despite undergoing bankruptcy proceedings, Diamond Sports Group, the largest broadcaster of regional sports networks in the United States, will continue televising the games of more than a dozen NBA teams and nine NHL teams during the 2024-2025 season. According to court documents filed on Friday, the company has reached agreements to maintain the broadcast of games, ensuring that fans of these sports have access to their favorite local teams.
