NFL Picks: Week 1 Seahawks vs. Rams
Two NFL teams from the West of the NFC will be ready for the Kickoff for the new season at Lumen Field in Seattle Washington. Things change from one season to the other, last campaign. The odds were that the Los Angeles Rams coming to the championship would win the games against the Seattle Seahawks but everything went the other way around, The Seahawks went to a Wild Card berth and the Rams did not even make it to the playoffs, loaded with injured players.
The Seahawks won both games last campaign in December in LA by four points and in January by a field goal on a dramatic final Sunday. Jason Myers's 32-yard field goal in overtime beat the Rams, 19-16, to finish with a record of 9-8.

GENO SMITH AND HIS SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
He had 30 passes for a touchdown, fourth best in the league, and finished eight in throwing yards (4,282), and a QBR for 60,8%, tied for sixth place.
Another new face under coach Pete Carroll will be Bobby Wagner linebacker, the 32-year-old veteran, who could be great for the locker room and leadership, after returning and playing for the Rams last campaign.
Another player who could be a 2023 breakout star is Devon Witherspoon, selected with the overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
The Seahawks are good just behind the Eagles and 49ers at this point and see if they sneak again to the playoffs and make it further. The NFL Lines can put them as a contender and make them go deep in the playoffs.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE LOS ANGELES RAMS THIS SEASON
The team lost players like Jack Ramsey, Bobby Wagner, Leonard Floyd, and Greg Gaines, they didn’t have first-round picks, but had 11 total picks in 2023, at the end, the team drafted 14 rookies. With all the problems they had with the defense last season, cornerback Tre’Vius Hodges-Tomlinson Tre Tomlinson a sixth-round draft pick (182nd overall) could be the most impactful rookie addition to the team this campaign.
First, they lost Jalen Ramsey and veteran inside linebacker Bobby Wagner. With starting quarterback Matthew Stafford healthy and back and also wide receiver Copper Kupp you can wait for many passes but last proved it it's not enough to make it through the season, so what would be their offense focus on throwing more the ball or more of a run first offense.
Let’s see what coach Sean McVay will choose he likes more the throwing game, but he also saw at the end of the season that it’s better to combine the plays, run, and throw. It will be a hard season for the LA Rams, they are in a mix of veteran players who have won it all and rookie players, It's going to be a long season for the Rams. The NFL ODDS can put the Rams again on the same track as the last two seasons.
