New York Giants vs. Carolina Panthers

This matchup in Germany hinges on Carolina’s quarterback decision, as Andy Dalton’s experience would improve their odds compared to Bryce Young. The Giants’ Daniel Jones benefits from Carolina’s weak defense, especially in the passing game, where Malik Nabers is well-matched against Carolina’s secondary. Both teams’ defenses have struggled, and Chuba Hubbard’s ground game could help Carolina keep it close, but New York appears slightly stronger overall.

Prediction: Giants -6.5 (-110)

Buffalo Bills vs. Indianapolis Colts

Josh Allen has been careful with the ball this season and may get Amari Cooper back, enhancing the Bills’ passing attack. The Colts, however, have a significant advantage on the ground with Jonathan Taylor against a weak Bills run defense. The Bills are also coming off a last-second win over the Dolphins, making this a potential trap game as they look ahead to Kansas City. The Colts could cover or even sneak a win if Buffalo is distracted.

Prediction: Colts -4 (-110)

Minnesota Vikings vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

With the Vikings coming off a big win, they face a scrappy Jaguars team that has covered its last three games. Minnesota’s blitz-heavy defense could backfire against Jacksonville’s Trevor Lawrence, who handles pressure well and has quality targets in Brian Thomas Jr. and Evan Engram. The Vikings are favored but might struggle to cover, as the Jaguars are resilient and could keep it close in a high-effort game.

Prediction: Vikings -7 (-110)

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Washington Commanders

The Commanders recently acquired cornerback Marshon Lattimore, strengthening an already tough defense. They’ll face the Steelers, who improved their receiving corps with Mike Williams. Pittsburgh’s Najee Harris should find some success on the ground, but Washington’s mobile QB Jayden Daniels could create problems for the Steelers defense with his scrambling. Both teams boast top defenses, but Washington may pull through at home.

Prediction: Steelers +2.5 (-110)

Atlanta Falcons vs. New Orleans Saints

Following the firing of coach Dennis Allen, the Saints may play with added intensity. New Orleans will be without top receiver Chris Olave, but Derek Carr has enough weapons to exploit a weak Falcons defense. The Saints’ defense will be tested by Falcons running back Bijan Robinson and the versatile Kirk Cousins. This game could stay close, with New Orleans benefitting from extra motivation and a favorable spread.

Prediction: Saints +3.5 (-110)

Denver Broncos vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, boasting one of the league’s top defenses, have historically dominated the Broncos. Denver’s rookie QB Bo Nix faces a tall task against a fierce Kansas City pass rush. The Broncos’ run game with Javonte Williams might not help much against Kansas City’s top-ranked run defense, so Denver could struggle to keep pace, making Kansas City the safer pick here.

Prediction: Chiefs -8 (-110)

San Francisco 49ers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

San Francisco’s offense gets a potential boost with Christian McCaffrey’s possible return, which could improve their red-zone efficiency. Tampa Bay, fresh off an exhausting game against the Chiefs, maybe too worn out to handle San Francisco’s strong defense. With Mayfield’s limited options and facing a rugged 49ers secondary, San Francisco looks well-positioned to control this matchup.

Prediction: 49ers -6.5 (-110)

New England Patriots vs. Chicago Bears

The Bears, coming off a tough loss, are looking to bounce back with Caleb Williams, who has struggled under pressure but should find relief against New England’s low-ranked pass rush. Chicago’s offense, featuring D.J. Moore and D’Andre Swift, has the firepower to take advantage of the Patriots’ weak defense. With New England lacking offensive depth, Chicago is in a good spot for a decisive win.

Prediction: Bears -6 (-110)

Tennessee Titans vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Justin Herbert and the Chargers’ passing attack have a favorable matchup against Tennessee’s injury-plagued secondary. Although the Titans have a strong run defense, Herbert should find success targeting Quentin Johnston and his other receivers. The Titans, however, face a tough time on offense with weak pass protection against Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack. Will Levis, if starting, is likely to struggle under pressure.

Prediction: Chargers -7.5 (-110)

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys

Key Dallas players, including Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb, are injured, putting them at a disadvantage. Cooper Rush steps in but faces a Philadelphia defense ranked fourth in defensive EPA. The Eagles can focus on stopping the run, putting extra pressure on Rush. Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley should find favorable opportunities against Dallas’ weak run defense, allowing the Eagles to control the game.

Prediction: Eagles -7.5 (-110)

New York Jets vs. Arizona Cardinals

Aaron Rodgers and the Jets may struggle with protection issues against an improving Cardinals pass rush. Arizona’s run game, led by James Conner, has an intense matchup against New York’s weak run defense, which could be vital in maintaining offensive momentum. Both teams have seen recent improvements, but Arizona’s ground advantage gives them an edge in a close game.

Prediction: Cardinals -1.5 (-110)

Detroit Lions vs. Houston Texans

The Lions’ run defense and offensive weapons make them strong contenders, but Houston’s C.J. Stroud gains Nico Collins back, boosting the Texans’ passing game. Detroit’s questionable secondary could struggle against Stroud and his receiving corps, especially indoors. Although the Lions are coming off a decisive win, Houston has an excellent chance to keep it close with a healthier roster.

Prediction: Texans +3.5 (-110)
