The Los Angeles Dodgers clinched their second World Series title in four years with a comeback Game 5 win, edging out the New York Yankees, 7-6, at Yankee Stadium. Despite challenges, the Dodgers' relentless attack paid off, marking another peak in what many now call the team’s new “golden era.” 

The 2024 World Series continues Wednesday night as the Los Angeles Dodgers (98-64) and New York Yankees (94-68) square off in Game 5. The Dodgers dominated the early games, winning the first two at home and following up with a 4-2 victory in Game 3 at Yankee Stadium. 

Vice President Kamala Harris visited an art gallery in Detroit to discuss entrepreneurship with Black men, while she and former President Donald Trump attempt to motivate voter groups that may be losing interest. During the event, she was accompanied by Hollywood stars Don Cheadle, Delroy Lindo, and Cornelius Smith Jr.

After losing 115-102 to the Brooklyn Nets, Giannis Antetokounmpo expressed his frustration about the performance of the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Philadelphia 76ers began the 2024-25 season at home without several of their stars, including Joel Embiid. Offseason acquisition Paul George is also out with a knee injury, but Embiid's absence is part of a planned strategy.
