Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson is facing a new lawsuit, accusing him of sexual assault and battery stemming from an alleged incident in October 2020. The lawsuit was filed in Harris County, Texas, by a woman who claims Watson assaulted her at her apartment. Watson had previously settled with over two dozen women between 2020 and 2021 who made similar accusations of sexual misconduct.

The Los Angeles Rams are facing a growing list of injuries, starting with wide receiver Puka Nacua, who is set to go on injured reserve with a sprained PCL.Head coach Sean McVay confirmed that Nacua will miss at least four games as he recovers from the injury, which is an aggravation of one he sustained during training camp. Nacua left Sunday night’s overtime loss to the Detroit Lions in the second quarter after landing on his knee.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill was detained on Sunday morning for a traffic violation outside Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. The incident occurred just hours before the Dolphins’ game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and Miami-Dade police officers surrounded Hill. 

After a successful surgery this week, Los Angeles Lakers' center Christian Wood will need to rest and be reevaluated in eight weeks following an operation on his left knee. Wood suffered the injury in February during the previous season, causing him to miss 26 regular and five postseason games. His absence was significant for the team, as he averaged 6.9 points and 5.1 rebounds per game before the injury, serving as a valuable replacement during Anthony Davis’s absence. The Lakers are hopeful for a speedy recovery, as Wood's absence could impact the NBA Odds.
