Peña and Pennington went toe-to-toe for five rounds, with each fighter having their moments of success. Peña’s ability to mix in her grappling helped sway the judges in her favor, though Pennington’s striking and pressure kept the fight competitive.

Peña pressed the action and landed fundamental takedowns at crucial moments in the fight. Pennington, however, could counter with sharp strikes and a big knockdown in the third round that nearly turned the tide in her favor. In the end, Peña’s consistent pressure and ability to control the fight on the ground likely made the difference, earning her the split decision and the bantamweight crown again.

Kayla Harrison vs. Ketlen Vieira

Kayla Harrison continued dominating the women’s MMA landscape with a unanimous victory over Ketlen Vieira. 

The two-time Olympic gold medalist and former PFL champion used her world-class grappling to control Vieira throughout the fight. Harrison secured multiple takedowns and maintained top control for extended periods, preventing Vieira from mounting any significant offense.

Joaquin Buckley vs. Stephen Thompson

Joaquin Buckley delivered one of the most stunning finishes of the night, knocking out Stephen Thompson in the third round with a leaping punch. 

The fight was competitive through the first two rounds, with both fighters landing significant strikes. Buckley used his explosive power to press Thompson against the cage and score in the clinch, while Thompson utilized his technical striking to counter effectively.
