Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani made MLB history on Friday night with his 43rd home run of the season, solidifying his position as one of the most remarkable players in baseball.

With his current pace, Ohtani is on track to set yet another record, potentially becoming the first player in MLB history to achieve a 50-50 season.

This level of performance places him in a league of his own, and with a few more games like Friday’s, he could even challenge Rickey Henderson’s record for the most such games in a single season (13, set in 1986).
