In their most recent outing, the New Orleans Saints secured a 38-27 victory over the Indianapolis Colts, thanks in large part to the impressive performance of quarterback Derek Carr. Carr delivered a standout performance, completing 70.4% of his passes for 310 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Carr has been a reliable leader for the Saints, accumulating 1,910 passing yards, eight touchdowns, and a 64.5% completion rate this season.

The Saints’ offensive attack extends beyond the passing game, with versatile quarterback Taysom Hill making significant contributions. Hill showcased his dual-threat abilities against the Colts, rushing for 63 yards on nine carries at an impressive average of 7.0 yards per carry. He also added two rushing touchdowns and one reception for 14 yards. Hill’s ability to create plays with both his arm and legs provides a unique dimension to the Saints’ offense.

Rashid Shaheed emerged as a deep threat for the Saints, recording three receptions for a whopping 153 yards, averaging 51.0 yards per catch, and scoring a touchdown in the game. The dynamic receiving corps, which includes Chris Olave and Michael Thomas, complements the passing game effectively.

The Bears roar for redemption after the loss to the Chargers

On the other side of the field, the Chicago Bears are looking to bounce back from a 30-13 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Quarterback Tyson Bagent faced a challenging game, going 25-for-37 with 232 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions. Bagent also contributed with his legs, rushing four times for a touchdown but was limited to -1 yard in the process. The Bears’ offense will be looking for ways to get back on track, with rookie quarterback Justin Fields as a potential catalyst for improvement.

D’Onta Foreman had a nine-carry, 34-yard game against the Chargers, averaging 3.8 yards per attempt, and added one reception for two yards. Cole Kmet emerged as a reliable target for the Bears, catching all ten passes thrown his way for a total of 79 yards.

Justin Fields, who has been the starting quarterback for the Bears, boasts 1,201 passing yards, 11 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions this season. D.J. Moore has been a standout receiver for the Bears, with 44 receptions for 691 yards and 5 touchdowns, averaging 86.4 yards per game.
