The 152nd running of the Belmont Stakes will be run on June 20th without spectators due to the Coronavirus.
The Belmont Stakes is traditionally the final leg of the Triple Crown but this year it will be the first race and also run at a shorter course distance. The Test of Champions, hosted at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York. The Belmont Stakes is the longest distance a 3 year old will ever run.
In recent years, sports fans have been rewarded to see American Pharoah and Justify win the Triple Crown after what was the longest drought in Triple Crown history.
